One Poem Every Day, Poetry

No. 186 “Past the Bend” – 18/6/16

If I ever land past the bend, past the shade of the tree hanging low,

Over the golden road, and I own nothing but what’s on my back and have nowhere to go,

Then I’ll head deep into thousands of sunsets and rise in the cool blue noise,

Of morning, and content I’ll go off, counting my blessings and joys.
