One Poem Every Day, Poetry

No. 226 “Feed the Birds and Mow the Lawn” – 28/8/16

There’s a house down the road, the grass is always cut,
She always feeds the birds but her door is always shut.
It’s a sunny winters day, her breath fogs in the air,
But she looks so happy, that strangers always have to stare.
