Shall we meet the night? – 13/7/17

Outside our yellow boxes
Night lurks
Grinning with yellow teeth
He’s probably friendly, shall we go out and see?
I feel like my years of nights spent protected by electric lights has robbed me of being able to enjoy the velvety darkness at night. Are you a day time person or a night time person?Β

  1. This is playful and a bit spooky at the same time. I’m a morning person, but the night is its own grove. We sit on our back porch with only a lake and a snip of preserved woods behind us and listen to the frogs and owls until midnight. Love the cacophany of the night – perhaps some of those sounds are gnashing yellow teeth? πŸ™‚
